Oral Sleep Appliances
Do you snore, or wake up tired even after a full night's sleep? An oral sleep appliance may help. This small, custom-fitted device is worn in the mouth at night, much like a mouthguard. It gently moves the lower jaw forward to help keep your airway open, so you can breathe more easily and sleep more quietly.
Oral appliances are a comfortable, quiet alternative to a CPAP machine for many patients with snoring or mild to moderate sleep apnea. Dr. Liu and Dr. Hassan are Qualified Dentists with the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM), with advanced training in treating sleep-related breathing problems. We work together with your physician and sleep specialist to find the right treatment for you, so you, and your partner, can enjoy a more restful night.
